He has travelled half the world. Living in Amsterdam for two years now, he is truly from Lisbon – Arroios. Tiago Salazar was born in 1972 and he is a journalist since 1991, having published, among other titles, articles in the newspaper Diário de Notícias, Grande Reportagem, Vogue, Egoísta; he was the presenter of the programme “Endereço Desconhecido” from RTP 2, but he’s currently into writing and training in travel writing. He confesses feeling accomplished with his son, daughters and his other children – the books. He’s going to write another novel in 2016, wants to go around the world just like Ferreira de Castro and says that “only in Lisbon can you find great friends”, but to those who visit the city for the first time, he likes to introduce her as “a fancy whore”. Tiago Salazar recommends a fundamental itinerary along the capital from a compulsory stroll in Chiado, a visit to Gulbenkian, listen to Fado in Mesa de Frades or a Lisbon view in Jardim do Torel.
