Practicing mountaineering and hiking since he was 19, Francisco Mendonça reached places where few set foot: Kilimanjaro, Mont Blanc, Mount Elbrus… Now, with a young daughter keeping him grounded, he invests his know-how in Portugal, more precisely in Serra de Sintra. It gives great pleasure to the entrepreneur of the company of thematic hiking, Walk Hike Portugal, to present, sometimes to people living next to it, this wonderful natural park, also known as Monte da Lua (Moon Hill). Known as one of the most mystical places in the world, Francisco Mendonça never ceases to discover and list the charms of Sintra: either for its geological richness, or cultural, or historical, or even the diversity in the landscape, including fields, hills, beaches and even vineyards.
