“Aroeira” was the starting point. This craft beer has been so sucessfull that it became a business. It is now the star at Duque Brewpub, a spot open by Pedro Lima and friends at Calçada do Duque. The coowner of the first brewpub in town cannot imagine his life away from Lisbon. In the city, mostly at Bairro Alto, he finds the soul, the light and the people that make him want to stay here forever. It is also here that he gets inspired to achieve the dream of making craft beer acessible to all. Born and raised in Lisbon, this entrepreneur with a past as researcher at the Gulbenkian Foundation still feels captivated by a stroll in Monsanto, lunch at Mouraria, an afternoon spent at Belém, dinner at Chiado and a night out with friends at Bica.
