Ever since he was a young boy and inspired by his parents, José was interested in motor sports. His path was somehow different from other pilots, but due to his connection to the area he was invited for his first race at the age of 21. On his premiere, the first victory on the road. From then on, his passion for speeding lead him into competition, having already won four national titles and a world one (32-hour Maxi Endurance, known as the longest race in the world). Racing abroad since 2014, nothing keeps José away from Cascais. Born and raised in the village, he believes it to hold all he needs: beauty, the sea and peacefulness. “I am away from the bustle in the centre of Lisbon, and at the same time, I have everything I want such as a good restaurant, the beach or places to visit.” Let us get to know his places in Cascais….
