The real estate boom has projected houses prices in Portugal to particularly high values, with the luxurious segment seeing considerably more prominence and demand.
A study conducted by the real estate platform Idealista has identified the 10 most expensive streets in Portugal, with Lisbon leading the ranking. Porto, Cascais and Algarve are also nominated.
1 – Topping the list for the most expensive street in Portugal is Rua do Salitre in Lisbon, with an average value of 2.923.195 euros.
2- For around 2.487.647 euros, it’s possible to purchase a house at Avenida do Brasil, in Cascais.
3- Algarve closes the top 3, with the Fonte Santa Village development in Quarteira proposing properties at an average value of 2.450.385 euros.
4 – Sobreiras Street in Porto is the fourth most expensive Portuguese street, with houses at an average cost of 2.013.125 euros.
5- Belém holds fifth place, with houses at Rua Fernão Mendes Pinto valued at 1.945.319 euros.
6- Prices at Rua A Gazeta d’Oeiras in Oeiras start around 1.777.750 euros.
7- If you have 1.732.270 euros available, you can find a house at Rua D. Afonso Henriques in Estoril.
8 – Rua António Saldanha in Lisbon comes in eight place, with houses available at prices starting around 1.688.363 euros.
9 – Avenida Marechal Gomes da Costa in Porto, with an average value per dwelling starting at 1.652.000 euros, comes next to last.
10 – Vale do Lobo Resort closes the list, with an average house costing around 1.572.090 euros.
