For 26 years she has been publishing in the daily newspaper “Público” about “whatever awakens her curiosity”. Also she has been furthering her learning “about what we eat, how we eat it and why we do it”. With such “baggage”, Alexandra Prado Coelho can easily guide us around Lisbon, “a city with such History and such stories” that even her, born and raised, is still discovering. In a city where time seems “to travel a little slower”, she steers the visitor towards Graça, “that keeps intact the spirit of neighborhood”, and Alvalade, “because it tells the tale of a different period”. A program for a full day must include breakfast in the sun by the river, a stroll of Sé, Alfama and Castelo, lunch at Chiado, sunset at Cais das Colunas and dinner at Príncipe Real or Bairro Alto. Saying goodbye to Lisboa must be done from the other margin of the Tejo, where the view is better.
