For this Lisbon-born journalist, with nearly three decades in the profession, writing is an essencial part of life. Nuno Galopim defines a perfect day with waking up early to write, stopping for some reading by late morning, and more writing in the afternoon. First he studied Geology, but music lured him into radio and journalism. You can read what he writes in the Expresso newspaper or Blitz magazine, as well as on his blogs Sound + Vision and Máquina de Escrever. Besides writing and talking about music he also helped make some by participating in projects such as the band Humanos. He recently debuted in fiction writing with the book “Os Últimos Dias do Rei”, about the king D. Manuel II. His passion for History and culture is a constant, as shown by the recommendation of a visit to Ajuda National Palace or his regular visits to shops such as Louie Louie and BD Mania. In Lisbon he finds a city of light and good airs, in which one can “time travel through centuries of History”. Being a keen observer, he believes that the best view over Lisbon is to be enjoyed at Boca do Vento viewpoint, in Almada, on the other margin of the Tejo.
