This freelance journalist and partner at a company that organizes nature treks has travelled to the most remote locations in the world, but Lisbon is always her “port of departure”. To her travelled eyes it is still the light that makes the difference, “this unique light one discovers at sunrise and sunset from terraces with a view over the river Tejo”. Furthermore, Lisbon is still a place “where History and modernity cross paths”. To better witness what this city has to offer one must visit “typical” Mouraria, “haughty” Estrela, “mundane” Chiado, “alternative” Bairro Alto, or even Campo de Ourique where you will find a “merge of styles”. Patrícia Cabral believes that a perfect day in her city starts really early, with a walk along Terreiro do Paço and Cais das Colunas, and ends somewhere between Chiado and Bairro Alto, allowing yourself to be tempted by stores, museums and a Santini icecream.
