The art that has given name to the town of Caldas da Rainha also extends to its gastronomy. And while the former is expressed in its beautiful pieces of ceramics, the latter is stated in the good fish that finds its way into delicious stews, in the fresh shellfish caught along its coast, and in the vegetables supplied by its rich cultivated fields; and we haven’t even mentioned the sweets and deserts, such as the locally made trouxas de ovos, cavacas and beijinhos. To better appreciate all this, we suggest a choice of restaurants, located between Caldas da Rainha and nearby Foz do Arelho.
